Beneath the bridge
Not every bridge is crossed. Some become places to belong.
We often think of a bridge only in terms of where it takes us.
But what happens underneath?
A bridge can become shelter, a place of work, a source of sustenance or simply somewhere to call home. The same structure that carries some people forward can provide belonging for others.
This photograph asks us to reconsider what progress and movement mean.
Not everyone needs to cross.
Sometimes contentment is found exactly where we are.
